ROBERT LEE (“Bob”) WHITE

Robert Lee (“Bob”) White died at 6:55 am November 16 from heart-related
problems and from injuries suffered in a recent one-car accident. Bob
was born March 26, 1931 in Jackson County, MO into a family of eight. When he was
twelve, his father died and Bob was considered old enough to work. He
has been a musical entertainer most of his life under the stage name of Frank James.
Bob has recorded three albums, a number of singles and cassette
tapes. He has appeared in a number of feature films and television shows,
including the movie Butterfly with Stacy Keach and Pia Zadora and
all of the old tv westerns.

In 1985, Bob’s life changed forever. While traveling from Denver, CO to Las
Vegas, NV, Bob and his companion had a UFO encounter near the Colorado-Utah
border where he recovered a metallic “object” he said fell from the UFO.
Since he was an active entertainer, he didn’t tell anyone his UFO
story until after his retirement in 1996.

Bob was referred to the National Institute of Discovery Science (N.I.D.S.) by
the UFO organization MUFON’s researcher Dr. John Carpenter after attending
a UFO Conference in Eureka Springs, AR. In 1996, Bob sent a piece of his
UFO “object” to N.I.D.S. who hired the lab at New Mexico Tech to conduct
a metallurgical analysis. The scope of this analysis was limited, as explained to
Bob by the New Mexico Tech scientist following its completion.

Cosgrove-Meurer Inc., producers of the popular 1990s television show
“Unsolved Mysteries”, flew Bob to the Los Alamos National Laboratory
in late 1996 for more testing of Bob’s object. This analysis is
controversial because Bob claimed that one of the scientists told Bob his UFO object
was extraterrestrial and that Los Alamos kept a piece of his object.
Differences in the Los Alamos and New Mexico Tech analyses prompted
additional scientific testing in the late 1990s.

Bob White made a sworn statement about the events of his UFO encounter and
passed a conclusive polygraph test given by a police polygrapher in
1998. In 2000, Bob was invited to present his story to the Rocky Mountain UFO
Conference in Wyoming. He was made aware of a recently-declassified Top Secret
Army document that appeared to show an object identical to Bob’s
in a 1940s Counter Intelligence Corps file named “Flying Saucer from Denmark”.
Bob received media recognition from newspapers, paranormal radio
shows, and national entertainment news shows. In September, 2000,
Bob and his partner Larry Cekander opened the Museum of the
Unexplained in Reeds Spring, MO with Bob as its director.

The Museum and Bob were featured in nationwide media following Bob’s
announcement that he would sell his UFO object for $10,000,000. Bob
and the Museum research team continued to perform tests on Bob’s UFO
object and found that the object exposed dental x-ray film and was
emitting an electro-magnetic field. An announcement was made in 2003
that isotope abundance ratio tests for the element strontium fell within the
range of two established Martian meteorites.

In 2004, Bob’s story was the season opener for the UK television show “Jane
Goldman Investigates”. The show hired a polygraph operator who was a member
of the Grand Junction police department to administer another battery
of polygraph tests and detected no deception by Bob. Bob and his team of
researchers have revisited the area of Bob’s UFO encounter several times and
have produced a book and DVD documentary of Bob’s experiences. The 2005
History Channel program “UFO Hunters” opened with a recreation of Bob’s
encounter and a focus on the Army documents and Bob’s visit inside the
Los Alamos
National Laboratory. This was the first time the
documents and video inside Los Alamos was aired on national television.
Tests performed in 2007 showed Bob’s object emitted low level gamma rays and neutrons.

Bob’s story was covered in greater depth in a 2008 episode of “UFO Hunters”.
Two scientists came forward and described the unique qualities of Bob’s
UFO object, and footage of the object’s strange behavior in Laughlin, NV was shown.

The research team plans to carry on the research into the origin of Bob’s UFO
object in Bob’s memory. They promised Bob before he died that they would
continue the search for the truth. Bob is survived by his wife Dixie at
home, and by his son
Mark in California.

Bob will be deeply missed by all who new him as a friend and fellow researcher
Larry Cekander, Dr. Robert Gibbons, John Huey
and all the Hardevidence Team.



"LATEST RESEARCH FINDINGS"

Physicist Chris Ellis, expert in solid state physics, aluminum alloys,
and superconductors. Test result showed the object is an alloy of
unknown origin. It is also his expert opinion that this is a manufactured alloy.

Research Scientist David Lamb, expert in physics and material science.
Also works at a major US university. Findings were achieved using
X-Ray Diffraction Analysis: The artifact showed an unique “amorphous peak
and is a polycrystalline semiconductor”. To his knowledge this type of material
is not found anywhere on Earth. Also there is silver concentration of 4.3%,
here on Earth silver is used in this form by experimental scientist as a
catalyst for a superconductor. It is sprayed over aluminum and thus is in small
amounts as we see here from the test results. He postulated that this
could be used on a craft as a way to dispel magnetic fields, especially
in space as there is no energy expenditure needed for superconductivity.
Lamb has further speculated that this artifact is in fact a “quasi-crystal of
complex structure.” This is only in its early stages on Earth in the form of nanotechnology.

Congratulations, your seem to finally make a break through. I am glad that the ball is rolling for you both. Tell Bob Hi, and tell him Seasons Greetings from me. I wish you guys well. If you need any specific statement from me, just give me the specifics.

Yes I did see the response of the radiation on Bob's object, both the x-ray, the counter response, as well as the emf meter responses.

Remember what happened when we were at KY3 with Tony Beason. So the object definitely gave off some radiation.

I also witnessed the incident in Nevada at Harrahs pertaining to the safe not opening.

Also I heard the original assessment that the scientist gave in Colorado as to the object being unusual, possibly an object from outer space.

He later on changed his story as you well know, when his boss was present at the demonstration performed in front of the British Media Flame TV.

The fellow we met in Eureka Springs who performed a test at a Southern University (Tenn. Alabama, or Louis?) also admitted to us that he saw a radiation effect, and that the analysis on the object exhibited unusual properties, but somehow the data had disappeared. What happened to the tests on the object fregments.

It is interesting that MUFON has been exhibiting the pictures I took in 1989 at Oar Ridge of a UFO, and they do not give me the credit, being the photographer!! Dr Fox on the internet has also been exhibiting my photos. Looks like others like to steal all the credit, and I am the poor guy, left out in the rain so too speak.

I always said that Bob's object was unusual, either an object from outer space, or an object reverse engineered from ET Alien technology.

We know that the crashs at Cape Girardeau and Roswell of UFO's had their remains carted off by the Government, and the Government obviously reverse engineered the technology; and obtained computer technology, fiber obtics, laser technology, nuclear technology, and other spinoffs as mentioned by Retired Lt. Col. Corso in his book "The Day After Roswell".

As you already know the Germans carted off UFO's which crashed in Bavaria in 1941 and in the Czech Republic in 1939; attempting to reverse engineer those crafts.

The Horton Brothers, Meisserschmit, and Yonkers created unusual crafts as a result. Some of this technology later on went to the Russians, to Canada, and to the USA.

This is mentioned in Major Lusars book "German Secret Weapons of the Second World War and their Further Development" (I have a copy written in German!).

My relatives in the Czech Republic stated to me that they had seen the one craft with a tarp cover removed from the ERTZ Girbirge.

At Dugway PG secretely in 1968 General White, and General Thompson showed me an Aluminum Alloy object which is similar to Bob's Object, as well as perhaps the object from the crash of the spitfire shot down by a FOO Fighter during WWII in Denmark which has been posted on the Fort Belvoir Website (see the Black Vault).

just a note..

Wanted to let you know that Mufon contacted me 3 weeks ago and wanted more information
On my bubble chamber testS and the IEEE stuff done in San Diego..

I sent the information along with all of our other data including your help and advice to us on our investigation of Bobs object, Dr Gibbons tests he performed while director of the Museum and other things we have done since the closing of the museum in 04.

The special projects coordinator contacted me and wants me to present the data in the early summer to the local mufon group in denver and for both bob and my self to be presenters at the Mufon Synposium in august.

We are both very excited to have finally cracked the the world of UFOLOGY inside edition

Since the new leaders have taken over from the other heads in the sand group that ran if before they are looking at good cases such as ours..

Its taken 10 years of struggle and thousands of dollars of bobs and my money, not to mention Dr Dewars investment also.... I think I see the light at the end of the tunnel..

I have been invited to do a couple of radio shows since i put out the first teasers on the MUFON august...I see more coming as we really start to advertise the mufon synposium..

THE BWO THROUGH THE EYES OF A SKEPTIC

First he must find the gov file on the object recovered by the CIC in
Denmark File # 202055 Stating a piece of a flying saucer was recovered.
This wasnt declassified till 2000. The case has been public since 1996.
Now he must obtain a picture so he can make one like it.
Only picture is in the CIC files.

Of course he must gather all the rare earth elements, then find a way to
mix them all and put them in a plasma spray torch or other very high tech
piece of equipement along with powdered aluminum or cast aluminum ingot.
Now he has to get it to form a cone shape with all the chads and this must all be
done in a garage. Of course he didnt own a garage in 1996. He was
on the road playing music.

Now he has got to take it to the most prestigious labs in the country and
have them test it to prove it is not terrestrial.
He must fool them all.

He has to make up a story and rehearse it over and over so he can
pass 4 polygraph tests given by police officers.
The object has to be made in such a shape that no one can duplicate it.
Now he must find a few scientists who are willing to put thier reputations and
thier career at risk to help create this hoax and all this he has to do with a 7th
grade education recieved in a little one room school house in Missouri.

He also has a bridge in Alaska for sale to nowhere..
Test already done.
This isn't the smoking gun, This is the bullet from that gun.

In 1985, Missourian Bob White recovered physical
evidence following a UFO encounter in Colorado.

In 1996, Mr. White was flown to the classified Los Alamos National Labs
for an analysis of his evidence. White was told by senior staff that the object
he recovered was extraterrestrial.

The lab recanted their position later, also
claiming to have seen another object "similar" to his.
The Los Alamos official analysis, published for the

In it are multiple images of an artifact nearly identical to the one Mr. White
recovered some 40 years later.
